Birth Registration application may be submitted in person with a prior appointment or by post. It can be done only once. To fill up the application form for a Birth Registration Certificate please follow the Link:

* To complete the application form properly, the applicants must put their address in Bangladesh as a permanent address.

After the submission of the application online, please bring the following documents to the Mission:

1. Printed and signed application form.
2. A recent passport-size colour photograph.
3. Original handwritten Bangladesh Passport.
4. Copies of the applicant’s parent’s Bangladesh birth certificate.
5. Proof of address in the UK.

If the applicant was not born in Bangladesh and does not have a Bangladesh Passport, should bring the following documents to the Mission after submitting the application online:

1. Printed and signed application form.
2. A recent passport-size photograph.
3. A copy of the full version birth certificate issued by the relevant authority having the applicant's parent’s name on it.
4. Copies of the applicant’s parents' Bangladesh birth certificate.
5. Applicant’s parent’s Bangladesh passport.
