Application may be submitted in person with a prior appointment or by post to have documents attested by the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Birmingham:



Attestation of various documents includes:

  • Educational certificates
  • Mark sheets
  • Transcripts
  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth / Death certificate
  • Marital status certificate
  • Guardianship certificate
  • Police Clearance Certificate
  • Commercial documents
  • Bank statements
  • Translated documents
  • Commercial documents duly legalized by the concerned Ministry / Office etc;


Requirements for the attestation: 

  • Application Form
  • The original document(s) along with a photocopy.
  • One passport-size recent photograph.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Self-addressed prepaid special delivery envelope.
  • Signature attestation, the individual must come in person with a valid passport and a passport-size photograph.
