Visa
Foreign nationals require a valid visa to enter Bangladesh. The type and category of visa, as well as the duration of stay, are determined by the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Birmingham upon receiving an application. These factors depend on the purpose of the visit, the length of stay, and any bilateral arrangements with the foreign national's country of origin.
Bangladesh origin foreign nationals: The only exceptions are foreign nationals of Bangladeshi origin (except those from SAARC countries), their children, and spouses. These individuals are eligible to obtain a No Visa Required (NVR) endorsement in their foreign passports to enter Bangladesh.
